25/08/12: The other day some lovely photos came of Freya looking very happy in her foster home.
24/07/12: News came last night that Zane will leave his foster home in the next days. He has a family with a very cat loving man and his 2 male cats: “He will get a practical home… there is a man with 2 male cats… he is living in an old bakery and he built a lot of trees for his cats… the sofa is theirs totally. It is a very. functional home for a man and his cats… the cats are the owner and the man is the lodger ;o) in the whole apartment the cats have monkey bars… I am sure he will be happy there.”. So Zane will live in a bachelor pad, with some great mates. Perfect for out little boy!
03/07/12: Since I last wrote about these 4 lovely cats, Storm and Freya have also travelled to Germany on the 15.06 transport. Storm has her forever home and I am hoping for new photos of her soon. Freya meanwhile is being well looked after in a new foster home. She was the prefect first cat for them as she is friendly and affectionate and very easy with other cats. News is that she is very well and “eating a lot”! Enjoy her new photos below AND some of Zane in his foster home.

04/05/12: Time to meet 4 more gorgeous, friendly young cats from Matz Catz near Sorbas. They were all friends of Taj and Mica, already on this blog, and until recently were all living mainly outside on Matt’s terrace. He rescued them all in 2011 as ‘at risk’ kittens, but due to prolonged viral infections, we had to delay re-homing this little colony until recent months. These are the last 4 of some 20 kittens that Matt rescued, and the good news is that 2 of the girls already have their forever homes.
Zane and sister Keira both travelled to Germany on the 27.04 transport. We were a little sorry to split them up, but Keira had an adoptant, and the first photos from her new home are below. Zane is now in a lovely foster home where he will be getting lots of cuddles and attention. Latest news in the last 2 days is that Storm now also has an adopatant so is on the transport list for 01.06, but little Freya will not be left without a friend as Matt has other cats and there is one young black cat that is not up for re-homing! I’m also hopeful that she will also be on the next transport.
Meanwhile Keira has settled in very well to her new home and quickly made friends with the family dog, as she is used to Matt’s labradors. She is for now an only cat with lots of love and people time. She is playing, eating and sleeping well, and her new family are very happy with her.
