D’Artagnan is another beautiful boy from Montse’s cat rescue in Almeria. He actually travelled to Germany on the 24.02 transport straight to an adoptant, so it really is time I introduced him to this blog. He is an Angora mix with lovely longer fur, and quite understandably found a home very quickly. In fact several families wanted to adopt this gorgeous boy. He is now just 9 months old and looks a lot bigger than when I met him and took photos in December! News from his new Mum is that he has settled well, now answers to the name of Darti! and is a very strong character. He is good friends with her older cats but at times I think they have to discipline him! His Mum describes him as her ‘naughty’ boy but with a lot of affection!
This is all fantastic and he looks fantastic. When Montse first rescued Darti he was so full of parasites and suffering from fungus that she thought he would not survive the first 24 hours. She then worried that all his fungus treatment had damaged his liver, but Darti has survived and grown into a magnificent cat. Well done to Montse for all her loving care.
