One of the features of the Pod GPS + WiFi Tracker and Activity Monitor for Pets is the option to record your pets Adventures (which is basically their route).
One of the features of life here in Spain is that come the summer we have to shift our arses and get out of bed much earlier to walk the dogs. We aren’t at the height of the summer yet so 8.30am is still a reasonable time to walk them, but we have shifted to our summer adventure with them, as the beach is less of an option in the summer because of the number of people, the amount of waste food left from overnight BBQ’s etc, and the fact that the local police whilst very understanding in general, prefer no dogs during the busy summer months.
So we have switched to the Nature Reserve for our morning walk. This suits Tigra as she is a big fan of the Nature Reserve. Teo has no issues with it, and indeed tends to do his Indiana Jones impersonation and go exploring even more on the Nature Reserve, but he tends to plod along with the odd sprint, while Tigra runs all over the place, no least because she keeps sprinting off to go for a splash in the lake!
Yesterday I recored their Adventure on their Pod Trackers (which I thoroughly recommend), and as you can see (below) on the same walk Tigra covered an extra 1.5km and got up to an impressive 41.7km per hour (which is still short of Teo’s fastest recorded time of 46.2km per hour!
According to the HR Vivosmart that tracked me we did 6.2km!
