A pet cat can become ‘unwanted’ for many reasons: death of the owner, change in circumstances for the owner, introduction of a ‘new’ family member. While personally we can’t ever envisage ‘giving up’ our own pets the fact is that it happens and these ‘pet cats’ are the most vulnerable when put out onto the streets, or into a rescue.
We have a small project aimed at re-homing these unwanted pet cats, but as with everything funds are very limited so we do need the cats to be be ‘ready to re-homed’ i.e. microchip, pet passport, rabies vaccination, FiV and FeLV tested, or for a donation to be made to cover these costs.
If you have an unwanted pet that needs re-homing then please feel free to get in touch via the ReHome an Unwanted Pet Cat Contact Form
