This little girl was found cold, hungry and frightened in the port the week before Xmas. The lovely Spanish girl who has her for now thinks she had been abandoned.
For me dogs are a problem to help at the moment. I rescue and re-home cats, but in the past I have been able to re-home a few dogs via the dog protectora in Roquestas, or at least get them to Germany via their regular transport. Over the last year the organisation has changed there, and their relationships with Germany appear to have broken down. They cannot take more dogs for the time being, so I have very few options for dog rescue, and personally have to just focus on cats.
This little darling is so small however that it may be possible to help her. I hope that I can find a way. She is a real character, and whilst she wouldn’t win any beauty contest with her wiry fur, she is very cute and loving, and will make somebody a lovely companion.
