28/06/28: Ghenghis is still in his foster home, but if you check out the latest photos in the gallery below, you can see that he is VERY happy there!
14/05/12: Latest photos show that all is just fine. Jazzy has been sleeping on his Mum’s legs, and exploring the balcony, and is now good cat friends with Amy. He is still a little nervous when his Mum walks towards him, but he is growing in confidence daily.
03/05/12: Jazzy is settling in well as you can see from the new photos. He still gets a little nervous at times and will run off to hide, but most of the time he is quite relaxed, has been sleeping on the sofa and the bed, and slowly making friends with Amy. Both cats have been fine with one another from the start. There have been no signs of fighting. Jazzy only hissed at Amy one time when she tried to lick him. I think that was a little too soon for him, but overall he seems to like her. All is going very well and his new Mum is very happy to have him!

30/04/12: I now have news from Jazzy’s adoptant of his first couple of days. Jazzy still need s a little time to settle but all seems fine, and his adoptant loves him already: “First I was surprised how big he is compared to Amy. I put him in our study for the first afternoon. He slept half the day and then he was very fit, ate a lot, and then cuddled with us. We opened the door a crack so that the 2 cats could see each other from a safe distance. In the evening he cried so much that I eventually opened the door to let him out. He then slept on my bed at my feet and at the head end slept Amy. Both looked at each other forever, and were very interested but there were no problems.
Today unfortunately he seems nervous and is hiding again. We have to tempt him out with cuddles. I think he just needs a little peace and more time to settle. Already he is very dear to us!”
15/04/12: Jazzy and Ghenghis have now been in their foster home for about a month. All is fine but as these 2 boys do not seem to be the best of friends, we have decided to let them be re-homed separately. Jazzy in the last few days has found his adoptant. The home check was great. He will live in a lovely apartment with a big balcony, AND he has a new girlfriend to meet. I hope he likes her! They will certainly be a beautiful pair with Jazzy’s almost pure siamese looks. It was actually Ghenghis who used to cuddle up to Martylin’s 3rd cat here in Spain, so I am hoping he will soon have his forever home too, with a new friend to keep him company. In the meantime, he is happy in his foster home as you can see from his new photos.
14/03/12: Jaz and Ghenghis are 2 beautiful older male cats that their owner has asked me to re-home as she is soon going back to the UK to live and can only take one cat with her. They are now both about 6 years old. Jaz Marylin rescued as a small kitten, but Ghenghis was an adult cat when he found her garden, and has unfortunately recently tested positive for FiV. This shouldn’t affect his chances of a home too much however, and for now the girls in Germany are looking to re-home them together, although both are quite independent. On Friday they will travel to Germany to a foster home, while we find the right adoptant. I have a feeling this won’t take too long as they are very striking, tame, siam-mix cats.
