Demand Justice for Dog Crushed to Death in Garbage Truck

The little dog had probably just climbed into the garbage truck to look for food. It didn’t mean any harm. But that didn’t stop municipality workers in Patras, Greece from slowly crushing the dog to death for no reason other than their own apparent amusement.

According to eyewitnesses, the garbage collectors knew the dog was hiding in the truck. In fact, one of them reportedly said to the dog, “Aren’t you going to come out of there? Well, I’ll show you.”

As children from a nearby school watched and screamed in horror, the garbage collectors started the machine that would compress the garbage. The dog howled in pain — and then went silent.

The mayor of Patras has launched an investigation, but we can’t let this disgusting incident go unnoticed. Tell Patras authorities to punish the people responsible with the harshest penalty possible.
