Can’t say I am am avid reader of the SureAwesomeness Site but I did find their article If You Find Your Pet Doing This, Take Them To The Vet Immediately interesting, not least because we transported a dog from Bosnia several years ago that exhibited the same symptoms, and was diagnosed with a damaged nervous system in the UK.
Basically the article says that if you notice that your pet cat or dog is pressing their head against a wall or hard surface on a regular and ongoing basis, without a good reason, then they could be suffering from damage to their nervous system.
As a general guide the more frequently they do it, and the longer they do it for, the more severe the damage is likely to be.
If you are in any doubt take them straight to the vets.
