07/03/12: News today is that Evie and Kike have settled into their new home very well. The first night they were a little nervous and there was a lot of meowing and rushing around checking everything out. After a few hours however they did come for their first cuddles with their new Mum and Dad. A few days later their Mum reports that they are enjoying turbo charged play and a lot of cuddles. Evie is still a little more shy. She cuddles and then runs away, but Kike is described as a ‘snuggle tiger’. All is fine after just a few days, and we are promised photos soon!
04/03/12: The latest news is that new friends Evie and Kike have a forever home together. Yvonne drove them to their new parents yesterday. I am very happy these 2 can stay together!
11/02/12: AND this morning I have another very sweet photos of friends Evie and Kike, relaxing after a very energetic play.
09/02/12: The latest news is that Serafina is very loved in her new home and will stay there forever. Evie, however, after a few days went to live with experienced foster Mum MaPu, and her lovely cats. This was because she became VERY afraid in Serafina’s home and was rushing around and trying to run through glass doors. The family were too worried about her to keep her. For the first few days at MaPu’s Evie hid from her and Ramazotti, her beautiful young male cat, but then she made fast progress and was soon accepting strokes, cuddling in the bed and playing & fighting with Ramazotti and her other new friend Kike. Kike is another beautiful boy kitten from Montse’s rescue home. He is a little older than Evie at 8 months but MaPu is now hoping she can find a home for Evie together with her Spanish boyfriend. In the meantime she seems very happy to cuddle with Ramazotti who loves all MaPu’s foster kids. The other great news is that little Evie has filled out a lot while at MaPu’s and is looking much bigger, and now VERY relaxed and happy!

13/01/12:Today Serafina is on her way to her adoptant in Germany, and joining her will be her little friend Evie, whom Isabel also found in a street in Vicar, where they live. Evie is a tiny, sweet little girl, of about the same age as Serafina. The great news is that in the last few days Serafina’s family have decided to foster Evie, AND, as they have a large house, Anke and I are of course hoping that they will fall in love with this girl and decide to keep her too. When I emailed Isabel yesterday that Evie was going to the same home, for now at least, she replied that this was the miracle she had been hoping for! Let’s keep hoping things turn out as we all want.

Serafina & Friend
30/11/11: Time to meet Serafina. I have given her a very grand name because she is rather a grand little lady cat! She is only just over 3 months old, but already a beauty with gorgeous long ‘strawberry blond’ fur. Whilst I think in Germany they will be drawing lots for her, she was given to Miguel and Isabel by a neighbour who found her under some cars in their street. She is a lovely, friendly cat with a very interesting face, and I have a feeling she will be on her way to a forever home on the next transport! In the meantime she has plenty of dog and cat friends at Miguel’s and is quite contented. She was certainly never supposed to be a street cat!!!
