VERY Sweet Little Tabby
This will be an interesting week as I make final plans to send Bruno, Jack, Korky and Phoebe to Germany this weekend, and then hopefully Cookie and little Mina (pictured) on the 24th.
Mina will be back at the vet next week for a good check, but is looking for a foster home for the last 10 days. She has been out on the rocks for over a year now but is the sweetest, tamest little thing, and we have decided that we would like to help her find a better home. Please get in touch if you can help. It will be from just after Easter until Friday 24th April.
Meanwhile I am hoping to confirm whether Phoebe and Korky will travel on the transport with Jack and Bruno on Saturday or will fly via Alicante on Sunday. I hope to know by tomorrow so that we can make our final plans for pickups and drop-offs this weekend. Saturday, as usual with the transport, will be a VERy early start.
We also need someone to visit Gisela at the cat rescue as carrying boxes are needed for the weekend. Apart from that, Phoebe and Korky need to go to our vet for their final injections and completed passports on Tuesday, and after that we will be just about organised, with everyone ready to go.
No feral cats are planned for sterilisations this week as our ‘cat Friday’ with Jos’s vet falls on good Friday, which gives us a well earned rest! We have more females as urgent on the list but we will start again on the 18th, when Cookie is due back for his final vaccinations too!
We will probably have places on the transport for May so if foster parents come forward, there are at least 2 more lovely tame cats on our streets who would be candidates for re-homing. If we have no foster parents then we will continue to focus on sterilisations for May and await our first sightings of Mimi cats little kittens!!! number unknown!!!!!
No coffee afternoon this week?
