Augustus

31/03/13: It seems that Augustus really doesn’t much like other cats, which is no doubt why he was SO stressed at Pechina. He has not made friends with the other cats in his new home, so has now gone to live with the parents of his Mum instead. Here he will be an only cat and much loved, which is I believe is what this handsome fellow was used to!
20/03/13: Augustus’s fortunes changed very quickly, as a family in Germany fell in love with this gorgeous boy within days of his photos going on the hompage and they didn’t want to wait for him, so Augustus only spent 3 days here after I took him out of Pechina. I took the lovely photo of him relaxing in Pam’s sink the day before he traveled to Germany 09.03. We quickly realised that he was a total people cat, completely loving and sweet, and not the slightly nervous cat his new family were prepared for! I now also have a beautiful first photo from Germany showing a VERY handsome, contented cat, who we now know is actually called Chiqui!

25/02/13: Augustus I know was taken to Pechina by his previous owner, but when I took these photos last week, nobody was there to tell me his real name, so for now he will be Augustus. I hope he does have a passport and I will then know the name that he has had for his 2 years. He is a very handsome cat and was not aggressive when vet Victor put his hand into the box where he was hiding, but he is very afraid like Teo. In Augustus’s case, I think it is just finding himself in a pen with other cats, instead of in his home. I think that once he has a proper home again he will be just fine. In the meantime, I hope his fur will stay clean without proper grooming, and I will be looking to get him out of Pechina as quickly as possible.
