16/10/12: Coco moved to his new home just over week ago. Kerstin described it as “a wonderful home with 2 dogs and a female”, and he certainly looks very happy all snuggled up with his new Dad. This seems to be another VERY happy ending. Good for Coco!
15/09/12: This is Coco, another Almerimar stray, abandoned close to some apartments, where he was discovered in the communal garden, and fed by one Spanish and one German lady, before my friend Jayne got involved and kindly took him into her apartment so that we could prepare him for re-homing. Coco is a lovely tame boy of about 4 years, obviously previously owned, and was perfectly clean and healthy when rescued. He appeared to have had at some time a collar that was too tight as he had missing fur all around his neck, AND he was missing all of his front claws, which would definitely suggest he had been mainly an indoor cat, and that his family cared more about their furniture than Coco.
Not surprisingly Coco found an adoptant in Germany very fast but she at the last minute was unable to take him, so for now he is with lovely foster Mum Leonie. I think this handsome boy will be re-homed very soon. Enjoy his latest photos, and some earlier ones from here.
