February 1st marks the end of the hunting season, so for many a poor Galgo it is out of the frying pan and into the fire as they are discarded, abused, savagely killed, hung from trees, thrown into wells, beaten to death …. or just left to roam the streets in search of salvation.
February 1st also marks Dá Del Galgo (World Galgo Day), a day more than ever to try and share the plight of these wonderful animals and the amazing people that are working 24/7 to save then and rehome them.
