19/07/11: Finn DID travel to Germany on the 09/07 transport, but not to join Jessica. He is currently being fostered by Lancelot’s Mum Petra, and is looking quite happy in this new photo I have of him. Apparently he felt at home immediately! Finn has a funny curly wurly, and is about to have a blood test to check his genes. We think his tail is probably the result of a bad break as a kitten, BUT there is a breed of cat in America called ‘ring-tail’ which is why Petra’s friend is interested in our boy.

Today I received lovely new photos from Finn’s rescuer and foster Mum in Spain, so I decided it really was time I introduced him!
Finn is a very sweet, friendly cat now just over a year old. Tracy from PAWs originally sent me this about him: “He is a very playful, athletic and energetic boy. Plays with other cats. Likes to sit on our lap through his own choice, very purry. Very expressionate. Has a very unusual tail, curls round on itself and waggles on the end when he is enjoying his strokes.”
He is actually very happy in his current home, where he has Janice’s own cat (another PAWs rescue) for company, but long-term his foster Mum doesn’t want to keep another cat, so I am looking for a good home in Germany for him.
Anke one of our foster Mum’s over there is actually looking for a friend for Jessica, her current foster cat, AND has fallen for Finn, because he looks very like one of her own cats did when he was younger! SO it may be that Finn will be on the next transport. In any case these lovely new photos should really increase his chances of finding an adoptant.
