It’s about to become a lot harder to abuse animals in the state of Connecticut. That’s according to new plans offered by Senate Democrats in the state, who plan to pass laws that would implement more substantial penalties for puppy mills and torturing animals. 

This could be an amazing victory, except that the Connecticut legislature has offered no timeline for when the new laws would be introduced. We must encourage these legislators to act quickly — at-risk animals can’t wait any longer!
