Karachi is one of the largest cities in Pakistan — and its officials have turned to poison in order to reign in the city’s stray dog population.
Care2 member Sue L. from Tennessee is standing with local animal advocates to find a more humane way. Will you help?
Help save the lives of stray dogs. Sign Sue’s petition and encourage Karachi Mayor Syed Mustafa Kamal to end dog poisoning and implement a city-wide spay and neuter program to address the issue of strays.
As local animal advocate Ayesha Chundrigar told NBC News:
“There are just too many dogs. But you don’t just give the dogs poisoned food and kill them. We need a proper spay-and-neuter program.”
Poisoning dogs is cruel and unnecessary. Please sign Sue’s petition now.
