This is Katia, another of Montse’s 2010 kittens rescued from the streets of Almeria and now 20 months old. She hasn’t featured on this blog before because, unlike a lot of her friends, I had no good photos of her. She is quite shy of new people and tends to hide when I do my photo shoots. In fact my last photos of her were so bad that I actually remembered her as a black and white cat. She does as you can see have enough ‘red’ in her coat to definitely be classed as tri-colour/tortoiseshell, including one very pretty orange ear and a REAL torty tail! She is a very sweet girl and lovely to all the babies at Montse’s. Most of Montse’s ‘class’ of 2010 have now been re-homed, and it really is Katia’s turn. She will be high on my list for a foster place in Germany for the Feb/Mar transport, if nobody falls for her in the meantime. I think however that she stands a much better chance of finding an adoptant now that people can see her lovely face properly!
What a beautiful girl!! She was on my favourite-list in august, but I decided to take Gladys (now Maya). I think, this was the right decision, but I wish Katia all the best to find a lovely home!!!
