07/02/12: AND now i have a lovely photo of Kenzie in his forever home with his new best friend, the very handsome Carlos! Of course Kenzie is very handsome too. They make a lovely pair!
01/02/12: Today I received some lovely photos of Kenzie from Germany. He is the beautiful cat that I rescued remotely and have actually never met! This happened because Chris drew my attention to one of the web sites that advertises animals needing homes. We were looking at an ad for one of the dog rescue centres we have helped with transport recently, but of course I couldn’t not look at the cats! Kenzie was at imminent risk, was close to one of the rescues I work with and looked adorable. Because I was able to guarantee getting him off to Germany quickly (13.01), SanAnimal animal rescue (which was completely full) was able to find him a very short-term foster place, and Kenzie is now safe and happy in a foster home in Germany, where he is enjoying stalking Claudia’s own cat.

He had turned up in the garden of some English people a couple of months earlier, and we know someone had abandoned him because he is SO friendly to people and other animals. The problem when I first read his story, was that this couple were about to return to the UK with their own animals, but there was no place for Kenzie, and they didn’t want to have to leave him to fend for himself again. When I contacted SanAnimal, Mandy told me that they already knew about Kenzie but were unable to take him. I am SO glad that I looked on that web site that evening and was able to help. He really is a lovely boy!
