02/09/12: Macarena is a very beautiful cat that traveled to her new home in Germany, from Montse’s cat rescue in Almeria, almost a year ago now. She has a lovely home with lovely parents and cat friends and looks SO happy and gorgeous in her photos from Germany. When Montse first found her in the street, she was sick with bad flu and had given up on eating and life, having been Montse thinks abandoned. Montse brought her back to reasonable health but she remained quite a nervous girl with people, although she was very loving and caring to all the baby kittens. She had been at Montse’s over a year when her forever home was found and I was very happy that she had her chance of a better life at last.
The latest news of this lovely girl, now called Panja is fine. She has put on a lot of weight and now has a beautiful darker coat. She has recovered from a recent operation to remove teeth as a cure for her chronic gum problems, and although she remains nervous she seems very happy in her home. Very importantly her new family love her, and she will be well looked after for the rest of her life. Good for Panja!
