Magnus’s New Friends – ALStrays Animal Welfare & Pet Ownership

28/04/11: It is exactly a month since I last had news of Magnus. Now I have new photos and a lovely email from his family.

“Now I get to finally send you the pictures of Magnus. He has since settled in quite well and gets along well with the 2 cats younger women and they with him. The gimmick is to each other sometimes too much for the little ones, because Magnus has “mass”.
His hair loss is also improved significantly, it was probably really the changeover, we still find still enough white hair in our house …
But otherwise, all safe and sound, enjoying the sun on the balconies cuddles with us, and now we also get a welcome at the door when we get home, etc.,

28/03/11: Magnus DID travel to Germany on the March 11th transport where he met some new furry friends. He now lives with 2 younger cats, a cute little girl, and a little black boy, who was sleeping when Kerstin went to visit and take new pictures.

He also has one other rather special little friend. Enjoy the photos!!!

10/03/11: Magnus has been living outside a pub near Sorbas for the past year or so, being fed and stroked by the kind landlady. I was made aware of this big, beautiful boy in December, so he was already on my list for re-homing.

Recently however Magnus has fallen out with the owned pub cat, so his trip to Germany needed to be brought forward, and he has had a bit of good luck. Another big white male cat on the German homepages had more than one family interested in him. The disappointed people have therefore agreed to take Magnus instead, so he will be on the transport tomorrow night.

His roaming days will for now be over, but he will have 2 big balconies for lying in the sun, and a house to explore. He will also have 2 kittens to play with. Here’s hoping he behaves himself and settles in well.

We think Magnus is about 3 years old, and he is certainly a fine specimen!
