Meet Oddi

17/03/13: Oddi is a very handsome, very friendly ginger boy from Almeria whom we have also re-homed in Germany. He actually travelled to Germany in December, first to a foster home, but he has been in his forever home for about 2 months now. In the last few days some lovely photos have arrived of Oddi in his forever home and with his special new human friend. I am very happy for Oddi because he was never really a stray cat, but lost his home because for some reason his family here could not look after him in the right way. Oddi managed to have a bad accident and lost half his tail, so his parents asked us to re-home him. It seems that Oddi is still a little too bold at times, from the funny message from his new family, but I am sure they will keep him safe. Enjoy their email and all his photos:

Now I have lived for two months with these nice people here. My new passion I have found is balloons. Four weeks ago, a lot of people here wore ridiculous hats on their heads and have given the little man many colorful packages. Oh, I tell you, so many funny colorful threads everywhere! These I have all successfully hunted and killed! Back to the balloons. Funnily enough, I do not know why, these strange things pop every time I bite into them. The little man is always pissed off and yells “neeeein Oddi”. Even the balloons I have successfully hunted and killed.

Today was a really weird day. The little man was in the bathtub when I suddenly lost my balance and am tilted forward into the wet stuff. A mess, I tell you! Now everyone knows that I am a brilliant swimmer .. my mum got me and then fished me out and lovingly patted me dry. When I was dry, I took the opportunity and I slipped in an unguarded moment through the open balcony door. Do you know this creepy white stuff? Cold and wet! Brrrrr terrible! I hated it and was brought shivering back into the warm house. Otherwise it’s very good here! We have a lot of visitors, and each time they bring a treat for me. Love Oddi.

It seems that our boy is VERY loved!
