26/05/13: Today a lovely cuddle photo arrived of our beautiful girl. Life is looking pretty good for her now!
12/05/13: Mercedes has arrived in her new home today. She does still have a slight cold but looks fine in this first photo.
11/05/13: Mercedes has been spending her last few days here in Spain on my balcony with little Ellie. She still wasn’t eating well in my foster room, as Princess in particular was much too strong for her, and I wanted her to have some time to completely relax before traveling to her new family in Germany, and hopefully put on a little more weight. As you can see from the photos I took yesterday, this has finally been achieved. Mercedes HAS relaxed after probably weeks of stress. She has been eating well here, and has also had antibiotic injections to clear up the final stages of her cold virus. She has even become quite playful! Mercedes is the true princess cat, and is a very good example of what happens when you terrify a lovely tame house cat by putting it into a pen with 20+ other cats. This of course is not the fault of the rescue, but of Mercedes’s previous owners who rejected her. She will have a gentle female friend in her new home, and I think this will be fine as she has actually socialised well with little Ellie.

24/04/13: This beautiful female of about 10 months already has a home waiting for her in Germany. Today I took her out of SOS Pechina to finish preparing her for the 11.05 transport. When I first saw her in the rescue centre a few weeks ago I thought she was a nervous cat, but last week I realised she was just afraid of the other cats there. She likes people and is happy to be stroked, so I am sure she will settle well into a proper home again. For now she is hiding from the other 4 little cats that I also took out today, but I’m hoping she will start to relax more in the next few days.

She is gorgeous…..we have one like her needing a home along with a younger smaller mixed breed one (they need to go together) as younger one does not like our 6 large dogs…..
Send me photos if you want me to help. It is normally easy to re-home siams in Germany xxx
OK will do thank you, both are lovely cats but only living a limited life here in 2 rooms as scared of our dogs, our other cat rules the dogs!!
