Morissa & Niebla

16/03/13: Today I am VERY happy to be able to write that Niebla is no longer at Pechina. I collected her this morning and have taken her to be fostered by Miguel Angel. For the first week she will be mostly alone while she is treated for parasites, but she will still be getting more love and affection, AND a foster home should be free for her so that she can travel to Germany on the next transport.
18/02/13: Every time I visit Pechina, I think again how lovely these girls are. Niebla in particular is always keen for a cuddle, and as her photo features on the original SOS adoption poster, I know she has been there at least a year now which is very sad for such an affectionate cat, AND if they are sisters then poor Morissa has been in the same situation. They are now very high on my list for a foster home in Germany in the next 6-8 weeks. I am hoping these new photos may help them find families, but I am sure that once they are actually in Germany, and people can visit them, somebody will fall in love with them very easily.

22/01/13: These are 2 more lovely friendly girls, both about 18 months old, currently at SOS Pechina. Unless you look closely, it is quite hard to tell them apart so I think they may be sisters. There is however no record of this and, as they are now mixing with all the other cats and do not seem particularly close, there is no reason to home them together. I remember one of them being VERY friendly some months ago and rushing up to me for attention every time I visited. Maybe they had just arrived then, because now they seem to have given up and are much quieter, which is sad. I recently took some new photos of Morissa which I hope will help, and I hope both these lovely cats get their chance of a better life very soon.
