Officials found 26 dogs in a single mass grave.

How can this happen, 7 years!!!!

Local Authorities Knowingly Let This Breeder Abuse and Kill Hundreds of Dogs… for Years

Authorities recently seized approximately 300 dogs from a kennel owner and his ex-wife in Las Vegas, Nevada. But it took upwards of 7 years for officials to finally bother to intervene — even though they knew the man was breaking the law. Since 2010, the breeder has held a permit for selling and training canines. But starting as early as 2015, neighbors, his own staff, and even a postal worker submitted complaints to local authorities about overcrowding, neglect, abuse, and dead animals seen on or around the property. Despite that, he managed to purchase a second plot of land nearby — which he packed full with upwards of 250 more dogs. When officials finally did come through the property, what they found was grim.

For years, the man had starved the dogs to the point of severe emaciation. Many animals were maimed or covered in injuries with dog-fighting, including broken legs, gaping open wounds on their bodies, and lacerations on their lips and necks. Investigators even noticed that many dogs were missing feet. Many other animals didn’t manage to survive. Investigators discovered 24 dead puppies stashed away in a freezer, as well as 4 mass grave sites on one property. A single one of those graves contained the remains of 26 dogs. Detectives revealed that, over the course of several months, the man had cremated another 90 animals. Authorities have now charged both the man and his ex-wife with animal cruelty. But the people of Las Vegas are demanding to know why officials allowed such heinous abuse to occur in the first place. Sign the petition to demand a full independent investigation of this corrupt negligence! Las Vegas authorities must be held accountable!
