Time to Meet Aitana Cat

Aitana is another beautiful cat from Montse’s cat home in Almeria. I first met her back in April and thought she was a special cat. All of Montse’s cats are tame but most are a little nervous of new people. Not Aitana! As soon as I walked into the room she came up to say hello and wanted lots of attention. She is a really lovely girl. I didn’t get any great photos of her that day, but I did get her to Germany on the July transport. A lovely foster home with a partially sighted lady and her dog came free, and Aitana seemed just the right friendly confident cat to go there. A couple of months later and Aitana had her forever home with another partially sighted person and his beautiful dog Richy, whom she is slowly making friends with.

All is fine. Aitana loved her new Dad from the start and let him pick her up. She then spent a lot of time sniffing his side of the bed, before settling down to sleep there! The latest photo came in today, of Aitana in her cat tree, with Richy down below. Kerstin thinks these 2 will soon be good friends, because Aitana loved the big dog at her foster home. She looks very happy and settled. Good for her!
Aitana is now called Amy… she is fine with Richy, the dog… and she is the boss… but she likes to eat all the day and in the morning at 5 o’clock… so she says hallo every morning this time!
She IS a special cat!!!
