30/11/11: Today I received some new photos of this lovely pair in their forever home. All seems very fine, and the 2 look very close friends. We always love the photos of sleeping and relaxing cats! Wallace and Campanilla are friends for life, who were born about 50km apart but then traveled all the way to Germany to meet and become best friends. SO sweet!!!

15/11/11: An update on Wallace is long overdue, particularly as he has his forever home with his little girlfriend Campanilla. A lot has happened since I last posted about his trip to Germany, and not all good as Wallace, Campanilla and their foster friend Evelina all became VERY sick with diarrhoea at the beginning of October. We think this may have started with our little boy Wallace, (who had diarrhoea on arrival) as we know Evelina was completely healthy, and Montse treats all her cats for Giardia parasites. This was one of the things that all 3 kittens tested positive for, along with Corona virus which also causes bad diarrhoea. All were very ill, and were lucky that they had MaPu their great foster Mum to see them through this and get them the treatment they needed. At one point she became very afraid as they had stopped eating, and were becoming very weak. Now all 3 are fine, and at the end of October Wallace went to his forever home, with his now forever girlfriend Campanilla.
Campanilla is a beautiful little kitten from Montse’s rescue home in Almeria. She was very sick when she first arrived there with infected eyes, and bad cold/flu symptoms so she has been lucky twice in the people who have helped her. Montse got her healthy the first time, and she quickly turned into a little princess. She is not only gorgeous to look at, but a lovely, affectionate, playful little cat. I have posted a selection of her photos for you to enjoy, the first one below being the latest in her new home. Both kittens have settled well, and their new Mum is very happy with them. She has now called them Lizzie and Darcy! I am wondering if she loves Pride & Prejudice! Enjoy all the photos!

AND here are some earlier pictures of Wallace’s girl taken in Spain at Montse’s. She really is a gorgeous colour, with maybe some Siam and Persian in her genes!:

22/09/11: Wallace did get to Germany on the August 27th transport and is now one of MaPu’s foster kittens, with Evelina and Campanilla. Tommy was also there when he arrived, and Wallace still has the girls and MaPu’s own cats, Simba and Ramzotti for company. Wallace is a little cuddle boy (“Wallace sleeps every night in my arms and you can see he is very often with me”) and he likes his foster Mum, but MaPu was also surprised how strong this little chap could be with the other cats. I think he learnt to hold his own with Jean and George’s 8 big cats in his foster home here. This latest photo shows him with his little girl Campanilla!
Crazy Kids!
12/08/11: Wallace is a very cute, gentle little soul. He was found destitute and alone and taken to Jean and George by some people who knew they helped cats. Then he was only a few weeks old and as they later found out, had fungus. Now he is much bigger and stronger and healthy. I am looking for a lovely quiet home with another kitten of a similar age for this sweet little one, and I’m hoping he will be on his way to his new life on our next transport at the end of this month.
