Will your MP recognise animal sentience?

It’s now been a year since UK law ceased to recognise that animals can feel joy, fear, and pain.

Please ask your MP to support the Animal Welfare (Sentience) Bill and help end this injustice.

This important legislation will require government, when formulating and implementing policy, to pay ‘all due regard’ to the fact that animals are sentient beings.

However, for this Bill to become law, it is crucial that MPs support it during its Second Reading in Parliament next Tuesday.

Will you email your MP now and ask them to recognise that animals have feelings?

To help increase pressure on MPs to back the Bill, could you also consider sharing this action with your friends and family? You can do that using www.ciwf.org.uk/Sentience-Bill

Thank you for keeping up the fight for recognition of animal sentience. With your help, we can ensure that the law fully acknowledges animals are thinking, feeling beings just like you and me.
