14/12/11: On Sunday I visited Patri in her new home. She is still a little nervous and the arrival of 3 people was too much for her, but her new Mum is completely lovely, and can now touch her a little. What I also saw clearly was that although Patri was keeping her distance she was very comfortable in her new home, and also likes the little male cat. I am sure she will be happy, and her Mum is hoping to move soon to a slightly bigger apartment where there is a balcony for her cats to go outside. Always good when people have the right priorities!
05/12/11: Patri was very nervous when she first arrived in her new home and was hiding. The latest news from last night is that whilst she is not ready to be stroked, she was sitting happily in the kitchen watching her new family, while their young male cat Micky made friendly overtures to her. She will go to the vet today as her cold does seems worse, but MaPu says she is in good hands because her new Mum is a human doctor!
04/12/11: I am very pleased that we have found a home for this lovely little girl, another of Montse’s kittens found on the streets of Almeria. She was close to 8 months old when she traveled to Germany on Friday, and her buddies, that she grew up with at Montse’s, are slowly depleting, as we work to find them all their forever homes. Patri is a sweetie and I hope she will also be very happy in her new life. We await feedback with slight concern as Patri developed a slight cold just before she left and the 24 hour transport will probably not have helped her recover from this.
Sweet Little Patri
