Table Top sale this Friday, 30th May 2014 – Puerto Lumbreras

It’s our Table Top sale this Friday, 30th May, from 10:30 at Calle Pintor Jose Maria Parraga no 77, Puerto Lumbreras.
This month we have rescued Tonksy who, from his first photos, was thought to be a pointer but he’s more like a Great Dane/Labrador cross or Foxhound. He’s tested negative for the Mediterranean diseases, has been castrated and is in the process of having his vaccinations so is now ready for his forever home. We are picking up another abandoned dog next week and are helping to catch a mum and her pups. Next month Lyndon, who was rescued in March after he was run over, goes to his forever home in the UK.

We hope you will be able to come along and join us; just popping in for a coffee and cake or a bacon butty or to purchase a few books/DVD’s etc helps us to continue helping the dogs in our area. We also have a good selection of second hand clothes, bric-a-brac, dog collars and leads and hand-crafted cards for all occasions.

We have pipettes for tic and flea protection from 3€ each for dogs and cats as well as Drontal wormers and Verm-X products at very reasonable prices. We have a new supply of scalibor collars so if you haven’t already purchased one for your dog please come and get one before they sell out, they are 17€ and 18€.

If you cannot attend the Table Top but would like to make a donation, you can donate by Paypal to finance@ndrss.org or go to our website www.ndrss.org and follow the link. Also, remember that if you are ordering from Amazon and order through our website (there is an Amazon button), we get a small donation and every little really does help. We’re in the process of updating the website so if the links aren’t available please go back later and see the updates.

Have you considered fostering a rescue dog? Apart from the costs involved of saving a dog (vet care, food, transport etc) we always have to consider where they will live while we find their forever home. So by fostering a dog, short or long term, you really can make the difference as to whether we can take in more animals in need. Please get in touch if you would like more information on what’s involved.

Looking forward to seeing you again soon
Deb and Di
