A number of people have been in contact about the latest pet food scare, an increasingly common issue unfortunately and one we highlighted recently regards cases of feline pancytopenia.
This latest issue related to Felix Cat Food from Purina, although it is unclear if it wet or dry food as in the UK people have commented about both, and in Spain we have had reports about it being wet food.
Purina have stated that they have only removed colourants from the recipe and seem to have “done a Boris” and said the matter is closed. Yet many cat owners still concerned for their pets safety, and many cats still getting ill.
